Allergies From Fleas Can Cause Hair Loss

Most of the time we spend all our time talking about male pattern baldness and other common genetically caused hair loss conditions but in reality there other causes that need to be addressed.  Hair loss from medical treatments such as radiation therapy are well known but most people don’t understand whether the hair will grow back or not.  In most cases it does.

Another cause of hair loss can also be allergic reactions to simple substances and pests that we find in our houses every day.  For example, have you ever seen a dog with bald spots caused by flea allergies?  They can be very pitiful looking but the point is fleas can cause allergic reactions in people too.  Usually we don’t think a whole lot about pest problems until there gets to be so many in our homes that they seem to be everywhere.  It only takes a few fleas, though, to cause havoc with someone who is allergic.

If you think you may have a flea problem the best thing to do would be to use flea bombs to get rid of them.  A flea bomb can have chemicals that cause problems but this can be alleviated by airing out the house.
